In cases such as above the insurance company which is linked with the Payment of Gratuity comes into picture. The insurance company might have indicated in their policy as to what is the criteria in cases of death or permanent disablement. Employer is liable to pay to the employee for the period worked in his employment under this Act though nothing holds back if it is more or beneficial to the beneficiary than the mentioned period or amount.
