Hello All,
I wanted to know about the sandwich leave policy.
Suppose an employee is taking leaves on Mon and Tues and Wed Thurs and Friday are off due to Diwali holiday and (sat and sun are off) and he resumes on Monday. Will sandwich be applicable?
Secondly, if an employee have PL and wishes to apply for leave wherein sandwich is applicable, so what will be the scenario? Will the sandwich be applicable? Or balanced leave will be deducted and no sandwich will be applied?

There will be two case :-
1st : Sandwich will be applicable as being going on leave in constitutive two weekends (sat-sun - before going on leaves and after the diwali holiday ). so this should be consider a sandwich and leaves will be deducted.
2nd : Being worked on friday before weekoffs(preceding of leave) so if HR policy can allow sandwich rule will not be applicable.
Also in sandwich rule he can apply for leaves but approval is in hand of HR and manager.
