I seek information on legal aspects to be aware of if an Indian Sales employee is given Nepal as a Head quarter for working?
1. I came to know that no work permit is required. Can he be given permanent posting without any permit requirement? If yes, any other process to be followed as per Nepal laws of International workers? We are also open for the process of Deputation if the permanent posting may not be viable. Let me know how many maximum duration is deputation / temporary placement allowed in Nepal?
2. Can the employee get the benefit of all social security schemes like PF/ Pension/ Gratuity etc. if posted permanently in Nepal?
3. Will the salary be taxable in India or in Nepal or Both in India & Nepal? Please provide treatment both for permanent and deputation posting.
