I work as an HR executive in a private hospital. I want to know the process of hiring our new employees on a Contractual Basis. Which compliances would be applicable for them and what would be leave eligibility?

Employees appointed on a contractual basis attract all the benefits and entitlements as given to other set of employees. Only difference in contractual employment is that this kind of employment is a kind of contractual fixed term. On completion of contract of fixed term, the contract is terminated automatically.

As suggested by senior friend here terms remain same, but is there any specific reason for engaging on contractual terms?
Better to take a call after considering the same. If you want part term appointment and none or less chances of renewal, take on contract terms.

I work in a private hospital. Our management wants employees on contract basis. Currently we mention in the appointment letter that job is on contractual basis for 11 months. As of now, we do not opt for any legal process. Is this correct and the reason behind this is that management wants employees to avail very limited or no leave and other things also.

Many a company do such things, you can follow the methodology till it is not objectionable by the Management and employees.
