I need your valuable suggestion with respect to the Foreigner Act, 1946.
If any foreigners comes to an industrial premises on B 2 Visa for some business meeting, what would be the primary responsibilities of the employer? Would he be required to information regarding such a visit to surrounding area jurisdiction? What is the legal compliance under the foreigner act 1946?

Dear Gaurav
Compliance is required for those who are under definition of workers under applicable labour laws if employed in India. If some one is on visit for a meeting he will not be within the purview of the workman, employee and therefore no need to of compliance under labour laws.

However when any foreigners comes in factory premises then we need to send the same information to superintendent of police . I was asking about the Employer duty pertaining to foreigners .
