Would he be required to information regarding such a visit to surrounding area jurisdiction? What is the legal compliance under the foreigner act 1946?

Dear Gaurav
Compliance is required for those who are under definition of workers under applicable labour laws if employed in India. If some one is on visit for a meeting he will not be within the purview of the workman, employee and therefore no need to of compliance under labour laws.

Dear Sir,
I know thoroughly that the foreigners are not comes under the provision of workman. However when any foreigners comes in factory premises then we need to send the same information to superintendent of police . I was asking about the Employer duty pertaining to foreigners . I gather many information from my HR friends and come to know the conclusion that it is necessary for all employer.
