Hr in aviation industry
Hi im doing a project on hr in aviation industry. i have gathered some information about the aviation industry but i m unable to find any information related to the hr in the aviation industry or pertaining to any airlines. i have been trying to get an appointment with the indian airlines and jet airways so as to understand the hr practices followed in these airlines but is unable to find any information on it. can anyone help me with this topic to understand the recruitment and selection process training performance appraisal compensation etc in detail in the aviation industry or in any indian domestic airlines

Hi am neha am working in aviation industry.i want to impliment leave policy in our company.please guide me.we have csadriversloaderscabin cleanerbaggage handlersuperwiserdriversd uty manager.we dont have any leave policy for them beacuse od which absentees rate is very high as well in city office which consist of 1013 staff for us also no leave policy..
Overtime policy
Hi i am new to this forum. just have a query about overtimeis it compulsory to give overtime to employees. our company is an architectural firm with about 40 employees we had an overtime policy where one has to complete 8 hrs per day and the extra hours worked were counted as overtime without the prior permission of the seniors. now we have changed this policy and an employee has to the take prior permission to work overtime and also overtime will be counted for a complete 1 hr. for egoffice ends at 6.30pm and employee works till 7pmno overtime will be there only if he works till 7.30pm overtime will be counted. now the employees are not happy with this they want overtime for tenfifteen minutes also. can anyone tell me are there any loopholes in this policy and how can we change the attitude of employees towards overtime. regards anju

Hi frendz iam new at cite hr. my question is all about aviation industry i feel i am not fit for this industry earlier i was in manufacturing industry as a executive secreatary to the managing director and c.e.o. i have a good reputation in the office and that job was giving me lot of confidence. my boss was also very nice dynamicintellegent. i learnt a lot from him. i was handling lots of things there but suddenly due to some mishappening i left 4rm there. now i am in aviation industry and the people are not professional at all. please send some comment/advise/suggestion. should i leave this job or wait for the better opportunity. or what else
Overtime policy
Hi members need to know on overtime policy. there are lot of calculation i have seen in few posts little confused. :? 1. is the overtime hrs fixed if yes then how many are they? 2. should the overtime pay be mentioned in the payslip or its optional? 3. if the employee is on leave say for 2 days but worked overtime the rest days and still cannot makeup to the total hrs will he be payed? mine is a us based co. and work 5 days a week for 81/2 hrs. please suggest me on the calculation part. thanks & regards sandy

Dear all in my organization many workers works for at least 10 hrs daily. now i have to make a overtime policy. socan anyone tell methis policy is applicable to all the employees or it is restricted to only workers of lower level. to be more specificare the managers also applicable for overtime. regards pooja garg
