Hi
One of our Employee has crossed 58 years of age, he is still continuing as onroll employee. In this scenario does the employee have an option to voluntarily stop contributing towards EPF & apply for withdrawal.

He can withdraw his Pf and apply for pension. An employee who is in receipt of PF penson can be excluded from the coverage of PF

In my opinion, the employee's pension contribution shall be stopped on attaining the age of superannuation age and total employee and employer contributions 12% each can remit to the respective accounts.

There is even nothing wrong if you continue to contribute to pension fund even after 58 years but till 60 years. But what is the present apprehension is how to get rid of it.
