Good Afternoon ,
Kindly help me to understand FnF process in the below mentioned case.
- InA small private firm, employee who worked around 2 years have discussed with his boss that he is moving to Mumbai because of some reason(explained to employer). eg. in June end he verbally discussed & mailed the resignation in July ..
1- Can Employer hold his June's salary (saying they will give it at the time of FnF?)
2- Can he claim his FnF to be cleared before he is moving to Mumbai?(which is in Aug or soon after his notice period completed)
As per the HR law, What you will suggest .
Regards Sheetal

Hello there,
Yes, F&F can be only done after the employee notice period done with the help of NOC from the various departments; the company have a right to hold the salary and give cheque or bank transfer after only the F&F has done.
most companies can complete the F&F with in the time of 45 days as per the company policy.
ask them to give conditional relieving letter and NOC clearance to join in new company, also take care of your PF and ESI details either transfer or with draw.
