I am working with an automotive industry and want to conduct the employee satisfaction survey so Please suggest the methodology how to conduct it.

Dear Om Prakash,
You would like to conduct the Employee Satisfaction Survey (ESS), however, you have not mentioned about the nature of your industry and how many persons are employed in your company.
Secondly, howsoever conducting high-level activity may be why you felt a need to conduct the ESS? Have you done survey on your own and if yes, have you found out any anomalies? If found out the anomalies, then what efforts did you make to eradicate these?
Thirdly, are you HR professional and if yes, then did you capture undercurrents that flow within culture of the organisation? If yes, then what are those?
Lastly, do you have sanction from top management to conduct ESS?
I am of the opinion that ESS is for the matured organisations. Therefore, please ask question to yourself and find out whether your organisation is mature. In most of the vernacular languages of India, there is a parallel proverb to the Hindi proverb "Haath ke kangan ko aarsi kyon?". ESS is something like that.
Personal experience: - When I had conducted ESS for my organisation, I had designed two sets of questionnaire. One was to measure Employee Satisfaction Index (ESI) and another to measure Employee Trust Index (ETI). What if the employees are satisfied but do not trust on the organisation? In this situation, notwithstanding the employees' satisfaction, ills of the organisation continue. We need to avoid this predicament as well!
