I have a doubt about PF Transfer and gap in service period to get the eligibility of Pension Benefit.
"If one employee served for 8 yrs and contributed for PF also, later he joined another company where the organisation is not covered under PF. How many years of gap in service is permissible to get the benefit of pension benefit".
Kindly clarify my doubt.

Hello there,
There is not such limit regarding EPS, the employees who are not working (Gap) that treated as non contributing period, so while calculating EPS, that period will not count.
also the recent amendment states the employee can take 75% of EPF share in the initial month and the rest can save for future employments, so the account will be active until his service completes or voluntarily stop
