Dear Friend,
Why not your company send you to Australia? In your appointment is there any specific clause not to send you abroad?
If the business of your employer needs you to send to any where in our country or to abroad, the company can do so, in my view. However, the company should compensate appropriately towards the loss to your personal / family and social life.
457 is a Temporary Work Visa (Subclass 457).
In Australia, the 457 visa was the most common visa for Australian or overseas employers to sponsor skilled overseas workers to work temporarily in Australia which is now abolished and replaced with the completely new Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa in March 2018.
You need to study this TSS.
If you refuse to go then your employer can consider someone for this work and declare you rendered excess. So think of this.

Thanks a lot, Korgaonkar. Please help me with the below clarifications to get a better understanding.
1. Can my company send me under TSS VISA to the office of their client in Australia even though my company is not present in Australia?
2. Is there any restriction on who should sponsor? Employer in India or client in Australia?
3. Do we need to give IELTS or any other english exam for this?
Thanks once again!

Australian employer would need to file 457 proving they dont have any resource in Australia. 457 is a work visa which is sponsored by employer
