Free consultant? Here the members of CiteHr are giving you free service but that does not mean that you can have a consultant exclusively for you free of charges. As you know that if you want to download a song that you like you have to pay for it, that is the way in which our country is progressing. In this scenario when you search for a consultant who can assist you in solving your issues free of charges is beyond anyone's imagination. And that too, he should call you and become your free consultant? Funny.

Dear Friend,
All the members contribute their best opinion without charges to any posting came in Cite HR.
All the senior contributors are professionals and some of them are acting as consultant. You required the consultancy service for your establishment from a consultant charging nothing for his service.
Why one would do cahrity for a business house wasting his best time for nothing. But one would definitely share his best of time for a needy & deprived one and not capable of meeting both the ends.
Once a friend of mine (advocate of the High Court & Supreme Court), appraised me indirectly how cunningly friends are discussing cases with an intention to acquire information at free for which his firm cahrges.

Yes, but knowingly we extend our support to the needy persons whether from the HR department or an employee. I have come across with a lot of situations like, the HR person will contact me and even get the letters drafted and present it before the head of the department of CEO and get the applause. At the same time, if the matter is known to the CEO, then directly go to the leading lawyer and take advice and pay a huge amount as fees. Knowing that these things have happened , I extend the service to the same HR person whenever he is in trouble. This is the situation with everybody here including the whatsapp groups in which we are members. We cannot close our eyes when an HR person or any other needy person is in trouble and who needs our help. But when say that you need a consultant who should give you advices as and when you require, it sounds quite embarrassing just because you can post your queries here and we are available to help you without any fees.

Dear Naha madam,
Obviously , your organization is not working for any social cause. I must be into some business run for profits.
Will you give your products or services for free? I am sure answer is plain ' No'
Therefore, your expecting professional services of a consultant for a zilch shows highest degraded mentality .
And to top it all ,If you are in HR, it goes against your grain.
Please don't think that good HR consultants are available roadside to dole out freebeies.

Working HR Managers; most of whom earning 30-60k and more per month; should also realise that some of the HR Professionals, Consultants with several years exp.in HR; & retired or took to Consultancy for reasons like Closure of their factory etc., also need to meet their basic expenses like Rent, Medical; family members etc., Many Consultants may not have regular income like working HR Mgrs. who get regular Salary & also; Co.can support them for taking advice from Consultants as Co. incur for various other expenses. Why many Cos. dont encourage HR Mgrs. for training. especially; there are many HR Mgrs. who are freshers may not have all knowledge or all systems, rules, policies to take of a HR Dept. functions. In my days, I used to go to cities to attend HR Seminars of my own expenses to learn & get documents to implement Apprentice Act where specific Documents, Agreement formats are to be implemented under Apprentice Act, PF Act, ESI Act.,
I highlighted problems faced by some HR Mgr. & some Cos. not encouraging HR training but spent for other works. Senior members may give their guidance. HR Consultant.
