Employee joins competitor with same job profile
Hi everyone... can anyone please let me know what should we do when one of the candidates resign from the company and if that candidate join our competitor s company with th e same job profile and with the same product.even if it is already mentioned in the appointment letter that when the candidates resigns from the company he /she is not allowed to join the competitors company or he can not work with the same product and same job profile for the next 5 years else legal act will apply accordingly... the same has happended with my company... kindly let me know wt type of action shoul we take for the same so that tht person can learn something...also many of our orders for the same product has been now transformed to their company coz of which we have to suffer from this condition... kindly request all of you to suggust something thanks & regards yogita
Whether i should apply for recruiter or generalist profile?
Hello sr. hr professional i have two years of experience as hr executive in it/software company. since last two years i am involved in both profile because i have worked in small scale company till now .so i am the single person who has to handle entire recruitment life cycle as well as payroll and other hr operation. this time i want to change my job reason i want to join a big organization for my personal and professional growth. but i am unable to take decision now that whether i should apply for recruiter or generalist profile. sometime i am tired from recruitment because our company is 6 days working and working time 9 hr so mostly experienced candidate refuse to join us secondly meanwhile i have to handle employee attendance listening their work related issue their appraisalpayrollexit formalities if any one leave the company and so many day to day activities. please suggest me should i search job now in hr admin/operation/generalist profile. or should i apply for it recruiter. kindly reply thanks

Hi recruiters please tell me how much importance you give to cover letters as it is understood that the candidate needs a job and u need a candidate do u read the cover letter seriously or just get to the resume and scrutiny it. as major recruiters are graduates freshers whats their opinion on cover letters. in naukri.com also there are two options one is with cover letter u can apply and other is without cover letter quick apply. i sometimes apply with cover letter / email my resume to recruiter or sometimes just quick apply which is easiest and in one click u can apply to many jobs at a time so the recruiter reading my application would he give importance to cover letter or just go thru my resume and see it matches the job or not. please give ur valuable inputs.
