Someone, please tell me what is the current law for paternity leave for the private sector employees according to government just like 26 weeks maternity law.

As far as I know there is no legal provision for paternity leave in any Indian Labor Law. It may be available in the Leave Regulations of some organizations in the Private Sector about which also I am not sure.
Yes there is no legal law to provide paternity leave to male employees in India.However some companies in India do provide and the quantum of leave differs from company to company.
