in Appointment letter Notice of Termination is same for employer and employee for example
if Employer terminate the employee then he should be give the one month notice
and if employee left then he should be give two month notice
I want to know what the Factories act say.

It would be appropriate for both employer and employee to give similar notice period for exit or termination.
Standing orders provisions: Termination of employment.--(1) For terminating employment of a permanent workmen, notice in writing
shall be given either by the employer or the workmen - one month’s notice in the case of monthly-rated workmen and
Two weeks’ notice in the case of other workmen: one month’s or two week’s pay, as the case may be, may be paid in lieu of notice.

Dear colleague,
The law requires identical period of notice by either side while terminating service. If different periods are mentioned in the appointment letter , it is unfair and won't stand the test of of law.
