We have few employees whose monthly salary is less than 13k and we are deducting ESI for them. My question is, do we need cover them under Group health insurance, as we do it for other employees who are more than 15k?

GHI, is not only for non ESI employees; you can also used for slab employees of ESI, but only rare cases they use both, and i can advice not to issue GHI for esi employees because they are already paying to ESI services, in our company 30% and 60% is contributing for GHI, if employees wants GHI even they are in ESI, they have to contribute 100% for GHI.
