Dear Krishna,
Greetings!!!
As per my opinion you can use below list of methods to reduce the absenteeism.
* Add more marks of absenteeism in PMS.
* Circulate and explain the leave policy and ask to follow the strict leave policy.
* Add attendance bonus and reward recognition related to attendance.
* Do personal meetings with an employees and ask the reason for absenteeism, note down the
points and help if you can in their personal.
* Share the presentation how their absenteeism impacts the work of an organization and how they
important to an organization if they will be absent to single day.
Punishment is not the solution to everything as an HR we are here in company to help and resolve the problems. Punishment is very easy thing to do.

Another way is to give extra salary amount on the year of ending according to their attendance Right/ wrong ?
