Hello Everyone, Tausif Here.
I am working in private company for 3.5 years. On contract basis. I got 12 CL and 15 Pl whole year. During i just used my CL and all of my PL is not used since 3 Years. Overall I have 40+ PL. What next now I don't know what the criteria. I just want to know what can I get pay that PL by the company or it just finish?

Dear Tausif,
It is on your company policy and thus you need to visit your HR department to get answer on this query. As per norms PL will be lapsed in case of non utilization and crossing the said limit of accumulation.

Appreciate if you try for permanent employment with them.
PL - Privilege leave is not encashed by all organisation. Please refer company policy for applicability on contract employees and based on that you may act

Dear colleague,
For your 40 days' of balance PL, please find out the policy of the company regarding :
1. What is the maximum PL that can be accumulated . Normal rule is two years' PL entitlement
is accumulated. Under Shops Act in Maharashtra, accumulation is allowed up to 45 days.
2. Whether part or full PL can be encashed.
Based on the above, you can decide to avail of PL or encash or do both as permissible under the policy.
