Hi!
Would request all members & the seniors to provide some insight on the minimum age of a candidate to be employable in any organisation.
Has there been any changes in the law recently and also let me know which portion of the Labour Law to check for this.
Thnx in advance.

Hi friends, I know we will get lot more different views about the same. I think it is not 18 years and it is around 15 years. Does any one of you give the right answer for this. Regards Amith R.

Infact to put is precisely, According to Factories Act:
Child is a person whose maximum age is 15 years, but more than 14 years
Adolescent is a person whose age is between 15 to 18 years
Adult is a person whose age is more than 18 years.
All the three categories are employable according to factories act.

Nilendra

Dear
as i think as per the section mentioned below you find which age is suitable under labout act 1992.
in terms of section 42(b) of the Labour Act 1992 Act 6 of 1992), not
employ any person under the age of (16) years.

Dear Bhavik,
Can you pl send the soft copy of Labour Act 1992. I am requesting this coz i am not getting any information about this act on net.
What you have written is in direct contravention of the provisions of Factories Act, which regulates the condition of service of Child/Young Person.
Regards,
Nilendra
