Dear all required help in the case of pf & esi deduction as at the time of appointment company havnt mentioned abt the deduction of pf and esi and given the apponitment letter with mentioning the salaryhra and conveyance allownces with ctc in that case is only employee is lible for all the deduction from both the side?

Hi i am working in an it company and we are deducting pf and esi of our employees from last nine months.now my employer wants not to deduct the pf and esi of employees any more.now my question is 1 is deduction of pf and esi necessary for an iso standardised company? 2 if not then is there any way of getting out of pf and esi? 3 is there any benefit to an employer of paying pf and esi to employees. 4 we are 25 employees in our company so if we will make it less than 20 can we come out of pf and esi as we are already paying it. waiting for kind and positive reply? thks & regards meenakshi

Dear all please let me know if company havent mention while interview abt the pf and esi deduction not even it was mention in appointment letter and the salary heads are showing basic hra and conveyance allownces with total ctc and now if company has decided to deduct the pf and esi of employees so in that case is only employee is lible to pay the deduction. thanx & regards gunjan

Dear seniors i have joined a company very recently the company is in money marketing and doing its business since last 4 years but have not done its registration under pf or esic act. employees are getting its salary through cash therefore neither any payslip is given to any employee nor any statutory deduction is made. as an hr i have been asked to prepare the offer letters for all employees then have to start the pf & esi deduction of the employees. i would request my seniors to kindly guide me how should i start the pf & esi deduction procedure so the company statutory compliance can be maintained. regards prachi desai
