Hello Everyone !
In my organisation salary amount varies from min wage to 1.5 lakh per month for different employees. Currently we are managing it through manual entries in salary register. But now we want to switch to fix % for basic (where basic should not be less than minimum wage), HRA, CCALL, etc. but those formulas give unrealistic data in cases where wage is either too high or just minimum wage.
For example, in case of minimum gross salary, Rs. 8,554 - it considers basic salary Rs. 3,422 which is unacceptable from legal point of view.
Same way if gross is 1,00,000 - it calculates 40,000/ - as basic salary. this results in increased liability of bonus and gratuity .
Please help me with some excel format which can help me solve these issues.
