Hi,
We have recently registered our company and we are working with 24 employees. Most of them have salary less than Rs.8000 per month. I have no problem in cutting PF of these employees but the employees wont accept it as there is immediate reduction of 12% and TDS and ESI... What can i do to avoid coming under criteria of paying PF? or should i hire employees in different way, or show them as casual labors (if casual labors are exempted from PF)

Hi Annonymous, You can’t avoid PF and ESIC. you need to obtain both the code and remit the same with the authority.

Hi Praveen, Thanks for the prompt reply.. I agree that I can't avoid PF and ESIC but is there any workaround? I am strongly not thinking about myself. just thinking about my employees. the one who is receiving Rs.8000 will receive near 6500.

Hi Ashutosh,
There is no workaround. If you find any other way to avoid the statutory for your employee, you will be in problem. Better inform the employees and tell them about the benefits of these social security.
Kindly follow statutory requirement pertaining to your industry (Minimum wages, PF, ESIC, Payment of Wages, etc).
Feel free to call or revert for any assistance/ Clarification.
