Our query is about Minimum wages.-
Our Office is at Pune covered under Shops and establishment Act.with minimum wages of Maharashtra.
They have given category of Skilled,semi skilled,and unskilled but we do not have the minimum wages of Clerk,office boy,commercial executive etc.
where we can show him?we are giving Gross more than 10,000/-p.m. to new office boy (No.Exp.)
Tr.Engg.also same sal.
Pl.lets know how we can splts in Basic Sp.allow.

Dear Jayant,
I am unable to see the notification in spite of my repeated attempts. If the fixation is based on broader category wise rather than individual job-wise, you try to fix them into the appropriate respective category based on the parameters of qualification required for each job like educational qualification both general and/or technical, previous experience etc.
In this connection, let me define the terms as follows for your guidance:
(1) Highly Skilled:
Any job which requires skill or competencies of extra-ordinary degree along with supervisory ability for its effective
performance - eg: Head Clerk, Sales Head, Accountant, Team Lead etc.
(2) Skilled:
Any job which requires the capability to work independently and efficiently with considerable degree of independent
judgement and responsibility by means of thorough and comprehensive knowledge of trade, craft or industry - eg: Clerk,
Cashier, Receptionist, Typist, Operator etc.
(3) Semi-skilled:
Any job requiring sufficient knowledge of a particular trade or of repetitive simple operations - eg: Bill Collectors, Ushers,
Gate keepers, Waiters etc.
(4) Unskilled:
Any job which requires the possession of no training and involves the performance of only simple duties which again require
the exercise of little or no independent judgement or previous experience except the familiarity with the occupational
environment to the necessary extent - eg: Loadman, Packer, watchman, sweeper, peon etc.
If your current industry wages are more than the sum total of the minimum wages fixed by the Govt, there is no problem. But ensure their parity in future as the minimum wages have the component of V.D.A linked to Cost of Living Index.
