Need your valuable advice on whether the employer has to pay bonus on additional allowances paid to employees.

Hi Jayarani,
Please read the Payment of Bonus Act for clarity.
Bonus is payable only on Basic and Dearness Allowance,but not additional allowances.
If the company pays on them (other allowances) also it is their own interest and part of motivating/retaining the employees
