PRANAB JYOTI
Dear sir/Madam,
I have a query and will be very grateful if you can help me out.
We know that the Chief Labour Commissioner (Central), (source url: https://clc.gov.in/clc/min-wages ) under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, GoI used to publish the Min. wage rates across various categories of work twice in a year (i.e. with effect from 1st April and 1st October) each year, valid for next six months.
However, it is not very clear to ascertain:
(1) The applicable minimum wages for skilled or highly skilled jobs like a front office executive or a diploma engineer
working under contract in office set up (not on fields or mine sites), whose principal employer is a Govt of India PSU in
Oil & Gas Exploration Business.
(2) The exact category of job to be identified with for above mentioned front office executive or a diploma engineer under
contract w.r.t. notified Minimum wage rate circulars from Chief Labour Commissioner (Central) e.g. a sample copy has
been attached for reference.
Awaiting for your valuable inputs.
Thanks in Advance !
Regards:
Pranab Jyoti Das
