Dear Friends I Have Doubt For Maternity Benefit, My Sister Working One Private Organization, ate of Joining 01.04.2014. Her gross salary 20000, She Is eligible For Maternity Benefit? Her Delivery date 10.01.2018.Last Five Month did not go to office - work from home only she got half salary for last six month. Ten days before only apply for maternity benefit from ESIC local office. she eligible or not? if she eligible means how much amount claim?

If she is under ESI then she can take it from ESI Corporation. Since she has been a member of ESI since 2014, she should have satisfied the the eligible contributory conditions. Her eligibility can be by logging in the IPportal of ESIC. The maternity benefit is equal to average salary per month.
