If an employee is terminated , in this case he is eligible for 15 days gratuity or not

If he is completed 5 years, then it is applicable.

Dear praveen , we have terminated that employee
If the employee has completed 5 years of service, he is eligible for gratuity under the Act and the calculations are 15/26 x number of years in service on basic salary +DA. Even if you terminate the employee he has to be paid unless there is any serious misconduct [moral turpitude] during the course of the employment charges against him. As a rule he has to be paid.

Yes, as per law if an employee is terminated then he is entitled to get Retrenchment Benefit 15 days in as year @ last basic.
