Please let me know the latest and essential HR compliance to be followed in a corporate office in Gurgaon. I am taking care of corporate HR single-handed and setting up the HR department in the organization. The company has been operational for 10 years in India, providing project-based engineering solutions, and now it aims to establish core HR functions as well.

Hence, please provide all the required support and documentation. The focus areas include PF, Gratuity, EPS, Retirement Benefits, etc.

Firstly, you have to obtain the PF and ESI codes and register your company with the PF and ESI authorities, as per applicability.

Under the Gratuity Act, you can submit Form A, which serves as a notice of opening to the Assistant Labour Commissioner and the controlling authority under the Payment of Gratuity Act. Subsequently, you can establish a gratuity trust with LIC. Please arrange a meeting with your LIC area officer to discuss the group gratuity fund scheme.

For Retirement Benefits, establish a policy in line with the retirement benefits offered.
