Are you asking them to resign for some reason?
Dear Hema,
On what grounds you would like to tell employees to resign? Why you wish to send them letter asking for resignation?
Generally such things are done verbally. Therefore, you are any other senior authority may call these two persons in the office and tell them to resign.
If the employees have committed any fraud or they are under-performing, then it is recommended to order domestic enquiry. Let the misconduct be proved. Based on the outcome of the enquiry, you may terminate their services. Nevertheless, if the termination is on the grounds of under-performance then you may issue them relieving letter without any negative remarks.
Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar
Dear Hema,
The term "resignation" in employment context refers to the voluntary relinquishment of his/her post in an organization by an employee for some personal reasons. Therefore, the employer has naturally no role in that except accepting it or rejecting it based on certain reasons permitted in law. On the contrary, when the employer compels an employee to exercise this option against his willingness and he does so, later, if agitated and proved in a Court of Law, it would be treated as an unfair labor practice and end up in reinstatement of the employee with attendant benefits or in an award of heavy damages. Yet there can not be any denial that in exceptional circumstances, such a practice is followed by employers. But they are few and far between. When matters like trust and confidence or authority or gradual decline in performance of the employee from the employer's perspective become contentious issues between them, resignation by the employee becomes a truce by consensus to avoid the likely mutual damages. The deliberations prior to such resignation go unrecorded only as observed by Mr.Dinesh. Therefore, avoid communication, if any necessary in this regard, in writing.
Dear Hema,
If you want take resignation from employee,it is not a proper to treat with employee. You still want to put your word in their letter. At left them with their own word.
With regards
Sunil
Dea r friend tell the reasons
GENERALLY based on performance.
PERSONS with bad character s..
Or surplus staff burde n to the firm... Salaries lead to above company's budget..
So explain the reasons
and it is advised not to opt FOR asking for resign .
It's childish act on the part of any HR..
Reveal the chances of removal... GENERALLY They will choose to resign..
Behave right royal..Pay all the dues as per NORMS of Labour laws.. then go for termination.. no fight no grudge..Just change of FIRM..
Such a feeling be inculcate d in their minds.cordial way... Suggested..
