If you are very apprehensive about the identity card being fraudulently utilized by the person later after his leaving your establishment, better give a public notice through news papers that on account of resignation he is no more associated with your establishment .
Public ad stating X (Name and designation) is no more employed with Y company.
Any person/company dealing with X is at his own risk and Y company has no liability.
Besides display on company notice board also about lost Identity card.
ON finally relieving employee take a declaration from him that he will return the Card if found subsequently.
