Minimum wages or any wage means the gross wages. Minimum wages adherence will depend on the rate of wages, & not wages earned.

Dear colleague,
The wages prescribed under the Min Wages Act, are the rates of wages and not take-home wages meaning statutory deductions such as ESI, PF, prof tax etc are required to be made from it.
