For the salary increment, you need to make Policy on Performance Appraisal. In the policy you need to devise slabs of performance like 85% and above, 75 to 84.99, 65 to 74.99 and below 64.99
Salary increments will be as per the performance slabs. The quantum of increase depends on the company's financial performance. Management arrives at certain figure within which HR needs to manage the performance increments.

I would like to add a question to this. Is there any fix percentage of increment that the employee is entitled to annually? or does it depend on just their performance? If an employee is performing satisfactorily but flaws keep appearing in the work. Also, personal disciplne and relation with other team mates is questionable. In such a case, should appraisal be applied to them along with other team mates??
