We are facility management company registered under shops n establishment. We are getting contracts in Factories, Hospitals and Central sphere,
The question is we are following Shops n establishment minimum wages. Can we apply the same rate at Factories, Hospitals or do we have to follow the Minimum wage of a particular category?

Dear Gopal, You need to follow minimum wages as per particular category and cannot keep any fixed amount for all the categories. It is ok only if you are paying over and above the minimum wages.
Dear Gopalmaru, Applicable Minimum wages to the Principal Employer should be paid to the Contract Employees posted to respective establishment.The Employees are not working in your Establishment.Whereas, they are posted to your Clients establishment

Dear Mr.Gopalmaru,
The classification of staff in various categories is notified by Labour Dept and Min wages to be paid is also specified.
For example refer to state of Delhi notification no is 12(28)/142/11/MW/LaB 2016 dated 26/07/20111.
As rightly pointed out , the specified MW are the least the employees are required to be paid.
