Hello HR Professionals,
I am working in a very well known Gym in Gujarat.We are a staff of 7 trainers. We have not received our salary for last 2 months i.e October and November. Please suggest what we can do. We have requested our salary many time to our MD but anyhow he is delaying the release of salary. Please help how to tackle this situation.

It is a breach of law first thing .
How on earth does the MD think employee can survive w/o pay?
Employees can jointly request him in writing about delays of this nature.
Last resort labour officer is always available who can be contacted for intervention.

Dear Friend,
Not paying workmen aginst their labour is a crime and inhuman behaviour. The said action is an offence under payment of wages act, if you lodged complaint to labour department.
Is your employer a regular defaulter or only this time? Whether your establishment is under financial constraint that need to be understood by you before going for any action?
If everything in order but your employer is not paying means he is playing. You all in group meet your employer discuss your hardship and give two more days time to resolve(if you can make a minitue of that meeting would be good). If no result yeild within given time put complaint before the labour authority.
