my friend working in a XYZ Company and his company did not had any ESIC & PF facilities for years,
but now they wanted to opted for ESIC & PF services.
as they had only 8 to 10 employees till now but now they wanted to increase the employees.

The day company will reach to 10th employee they have to get registered in ESIC then after reaching to 20 employees get registered for PF. Voluntary registration can also be done.

after 10+ employment strength ESIC is applicable and slimier way after 20+ employees EPF is applicable

Hi, In ESIC eligibility criteria is 10 or more employees & for PF is 20 or more hence company has to get registered under PF & ESIC. Regards, Chandrakant

There is a provision for voluntary registration for EPF and the company can go ahead and register.

It is good that your friend's company s intending to get the registration immediately after reaching 10 employees count.
As suggested by seniors here get the process done by showing all relevant documents and comply from now on.
Ensuring timelines are followed for making the payment of challans on time is mostly required,because they are coming into the scope now and delay attracts penalties.

One employee deposit the esic through esic portal last 6th month. he was cover in esic but his salary increase last 6th month ago so his salary cross the limit of esic limit Rs. 21000/- in case employer had been deposited the esic amount. I want to know that employer will give the benefits of esic & when will the deposit the esic amount to next month .
