my friend working in a XYZ Company and his company did not had any ESIC & PF facilities for years,
but now they wanted to opted for ESIC & PF services.
as they had only 8 to 10 employees till now but now they wanted to increase the employees.

From India, Hyderabad
The day company will reach to 10th employee they have to get registered in ESIC then after reaching to 20 employees get registered for PF. Voluntary registration can also be done.
From India, Pune

There is a provision for voluntary registration for EPF and the company can go ahead and register.

Hi [email protected],
It is good that your friend's company s intending to get the registration immediately after reaching 10 employees count.
As suggested by seniors here get the process done by showing all relevant documents and comply from now on.
Ensuring timelines are followed for making the payment of challans on time is mostly required, because they are coming into the scope now and delay attracts penalties.
