I was sent onsite for a period of 3 weeks, not for training but work, without signing a bond. Its just mentioned in policy document that if an employee goes onsite & upon coming back doesn't serve the company for an year, on that grounds can the company hound the employee, the reimbursement amount would cost almost 5 month's salary (3.25 lacs).
I have not signed any other document apart from offer letter
In offer letter there is one section:
Documents applicable to your employment:
The following documents as amended from time to time form part of your contract of employment with xx & are available for perusual from your business unit.
1. Human resource manual
2. Code of ethics
3. Any other document of which you may ve advised during your employment with xx
Am I still liable to bond?
Can the company extort the money from me??
In fact during travel company has not provided me any daily allowance or done any reimbursement of dinner bills for travel day just because I landed past 2 pm, this thing isn't mentioned in policy though

You want to leave company now without paying any notice period amount and you want to find escape way now from us correct?

No no , forgot to mention, I'm currently on notice period and will be serving it in full. The question is about Money as I have resigned before completing an year after coming back from onsite trip

Hi Adiety,
As you have not signed any agreement/contract/appointment letter, no one can ask you for any claims and damages. No need to worry. If you find any threat received from anyone then file a police complaint. Until you have not entered in any written agreement, no one can harm you. If you need any legal assistance in this case then feel free to reach me on my below mentioned number.

Adding to above comments- You also need not to serve any notice period. if you are doing so then it is as per your goodwill gesture to the other party.
Also I found the comments of Prashant B Ingawale to be confusing one "You want to leave company now without paying any notice period amount and you want to find escape way now from us correct?" Is this written about your company Mr. Ingawale? The statement is of questionable nature where the person is verifying whether the victim is trying to find escape from "us".

Don’t worry. Acceptance of offer is not an agreement. It further need be supported by an appointment letter.

I'm worried if they give my bad review or what if they dont give me my experience /relieving letter post 45 days after my last day.
I took this issue up to my onsite lead he too agreed that I was not there on some holiday, but my MD isn't ready to listen, its like one man show
Also they didn't pay me any allowance for the travel day when I asked they they said since I reached past 2 pm , I'm not liable for it ( flight was schedules at 4:30 am) when I asked for reimbursement of dinner bills even that was declined

Sir they have now sent me a notice (its on company's letter head), asking me to reimburse the amount return back to company & complete the notice period of 3 months, threatening me that they will complaint to the 3rd party who was hired by new company for doing my background check, as per the notice that they sent me on 19th jan 2018 they say that background check was done on 12th dec 2017.
Kindly note that when I resigned on 30th Oct & they approved 12th Jan as my last day.
Later somewhere in Nov I discussed with my delivery manager telling her that I wont be able to pay, the amount is huge, earlier too people had left but they never collected money from them.
Then directly on 10th of Jan 2018 they started asking me for money, dropping me a mail to transfer the said amount immediately, else I wont be released, this mail was dropped by head of finance. Kindly note that all the amount is in rand, that implies these people have not made the payments. I again said that I wont be able to pay, earlier they had asked me to withdraw resignation
On 12th jan 2018, head of finance was present, delivery manger was present and even the HR. I had dropped a bye bye mail to everyone, my farewell was conducted, delivery manager too was present in the farewell, things went smoothly, my exit interview too was taken & now suddenly on 19th jan 2018 I was sent a notice on company's letter head stating they will take strict action against me, asking me to come back to work & telling me that they will inform the agency who conducted my background check for new company that I didn't complete the notice period & have not paid the dues.
Please help, my career is at stake
