Maternity leave salary calculation - what all components are included?
Hello members i am working on the maternity leave and i am slightly confused with salary part that has to be paid to a women employee during her maternity leave. the salary components that we follow are mentioned below: basic hra lta mobile reimbursement special allowance so my question is what all components are included from the above while calculating maternity leaves salary? and can the employee take the maternity leave at a stretch for 6 months is it compulsory to take 8 weeks before and 16 weeks after delivery. and if the employee wishes to extend the salary whether it will be unpaid?
Maternity leave - how can i ask my organization to pay full salary and not average salary as per maternity benefit?
Hello sir i m bhavani working in a private organization due to the 2nd wave of corona i m taking long leave but my organization not accepted and they suggested me to take maternity to leave so i ve applied for maternity leave but my organization paying average salary for this month. can anyone suggest me is there any rule for paying average salary? otherwise how can i ask my organization to pay full salary as per maternity benefit? please i need your valuable suggestions.?
No pay during maternity
Hi i work in an it company for 2 years and i am 7 months prgnant right now. my hr says i can avail 3 month maternity leave however i will get just my basic salary for three months also it will be paid only after i come back from my maternity leave. even then it will take 2 more months for them to process itmeaning i need to wait for 5 months from the day i take maternity leave to get 3 months basic pay. is it legal? i have huge commitments i was in an assumption that i will get my full salary for 3 monthsduring maternity like my friends who work in other companies. now its coming like a shock that i will not get paid for 3 months. is it legal not paying the employee who is going on maternity leave? i mean during maternity not after 5 months please advise on this.

Hi all i am working with a registered trust of a navratna psu of india. all the employees of this trust are hired on a contractual basis which is subjected to renewal on time to time basis. i am working with this trust for more than 2.5 years and i want to claim maternity leave. apart from basic salary and special allowance conveyance books & periodicals are the components of my salary break up. other than salary is there any maternity leave benefit which can be provided ? i want to know which salary components i can expect from my employer during my maternity leave. kindly guide me. thanking you shabana
