Dear Eksha,
You need not lose your hope. There are ample opportunities available. Thetrefore, because of one bad experience, you don't have to dismiss yourself. However, as of now please confirm the following:
a) Your qualification
b) The nature of your industry, your finished product or service and your designation
c) How many persons work in your department, is the harassment only for you or for all
d) What exactly is the problem, why you are frustrated
Who is harassing you? Have you made a note of the instances? Do you find any pattern in the scolding?
While typing replies to the above questions, use your laptop or PC as while typing on mobile mistakes happen more.
Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar

Dear Eksha, It is too early to call it quits. All of us had some frustration or the other after the iniial period of euphoria over getting the first job is over. During the college, all had lots of dreams about the job, almost all are ideal conditions and one is the self declared WINNER, but real life situations are entirely different. You are feeling frustrated after getting a job, imagine the plight of those who couldn't get a job so far, their endless wait. So you are much better than all of them. You mentioned problem to be lack of social life, but is it such an insurmountable one, you are new to the place, it takes some time for you to be accustomed to the others & vice versa, so allow time to help and heal. Soon you would like the new moorings.

Hi Eksha,
I understand as i faced the same problem once. I was also frustrated and wanted to quit the job. But then i realized that i am not a loser and will face the situation. You should always be prepared for the worst. I got this inspiration from some of my ex-colleagues. Trust me,running is not always the option,we should learn to face the situation. Also if still you are not able to cope up with the organisation, start looking for CHANGE. Let me be very clear, that if you want to be successful in your life,be ready for all the circumstances. Leave this job, only when you have another option.
I wish you all the best and hope this post was helpful.

Never use the word depression in your life. The world is big and you are thinking the work place is only the world for you. If every body are facing what you are undergoing in your company, just don't worry continue till you get a new job. All the best.

Dear Eksha,
The life to live or to expect happenings just not happen as per one's wish. But there are incidents co-incidently match with some people are very rare. In my suggestion you count the things which are disturbing you and your mind at work place. Give the thought over those points whether are specially meant for your or for others.
It is understood that you ae badly disturbed for which you too can give up life. You have to keep patience and discuss the issues with seniors if they can resolve. You be pro active to sort out your problem or take someone's help you think better in your work place. If still find things are not better for you, then quit. Prior to quit search for an alternative job.

What is the type of mental harassment you are facing?
Is a co worker harassing you or the environment as such awkward ?
Have you voiced your feelings about harassment to your co workers or superior?
Problems always occur and one must face them boldly-surrendering to worries is not the way ahead.
In general -Unhappiness at work is a common problem. All of us have felt unhappy at one point or another in our jobs, and a surprising number of us are chronically unhappy in our current positions
Also recognize that there's a difference between moments of unhappiness and ongoing unhappiness
So analyse your worries, problems and actively work towards resolving them.
Things will work out fine if you take bold and intelligent actions as necessary to alleviate problems faced by you.

Dear Eksha,
Don't give up .Don't feel depressed. Be positive and hopeful. These times aso will pass. Either let the things take it's own course or you escalate it by taking up the issue upfront with the higher ups.
If you are on the right side, ultimately you will win.But dont loose your heart and take any hasty step.
