Calculation of leave under sales promotion employees act 1976
Dear friends under the sales promotion employees act 1976 a sales promotion employee shall be granted. a earned leave on full wages for not less than oneeleventh of the period spent on duty. b medical leave on half wages for not less than one eighteenth of the period spent on duty. so as per these rules how many days will be his total leave entitlement for the year if the employee was on the roles for the whole of previous financial year and he has not availed of any leave in the previous year? thanks and regards vidyadhar

Please guide me on the issue for leave calculations for contractor empployee . we have out source contract employees and provision for leave encashment policy for them. i had query for this generaly leave calculated as 1 leave for every present 20daysi.e. 1.5 for month. like this is it calculated for 12 months period as 18 leave or any else calculations is their? please give guideline for the same.

Ours is a pharmaceutical company based in punjab. we have total 350 person associated with our company: about 60 persons as production staff staff & workers in manufacturing unit outskirts of ludhiana about 20 person admin staff working in the same premises of manufacturing unit outskirts of ludhiana about 20 person admin staff working in the registered office based in main city of ludhiana. about 250 sales staff managers and medical representatives working in the field in various states of india. my query is to know exactly under which act our leave policy and other service rules should be? sales promotion employees act/shop and establishment act/factory act? should we have a single leave policy for all or separate for sales staff factory staff and registered office staff.
