Hi all i am working for an it company with 400 employee working. as we all are aware about that it companies face the maximum rate of attrition. i want to calculate attrition rate for my company and just want you guys inputs on my queries mentioned below: 1. while calculating attrition rate do we need to consider only the confirmed employees during that period? 2. do we need to count absconding employees also for attrition rate. 3. what is the popular formula used for calculating attrition rate? request you to help me. thanks & regards sapana

What is attrition percentage. if opening head count is 100 and attrition percentage is 5 then is it mean that 5 employees left the job? attrition rate no. of employees resigned / no. of employees in an org. no. of emplyees joined no. of employees resigned100. is this formula is rite? kindly some one clarify my doubt pls. its very urgent

Hi guys... can anyone tell me about the formulae to calculate: 1. monthly annualized employee attrition rate 2. quarter to date annualized attrition rate 3. ytd annualized attrition rate. what i could deduce logically was: 1. for monthly no. of exits in the month/avg head count for the month12 100 2. qtd annualized no of exits till date in the qtr/avg head count till date in qtr4100 3. ytd annualized no. of exits till date in the year/avg head count till date in the year100 just want to confirm the above... please if anyone could help me out with the above it would be really great. thanks in advance... natasha

Dear sr. hr s i am working as sr. hr executive in a bpo company with 6070 employees. i want to know a few things: 1. how to track attrition at agent level & how to know the reason of very high attrition rate at agent level in my company? mostly soon after the joining employees are absconded & i keep chasing them but do not get any response. 2. what is the correct process of head hunting of candidates & how can i increase hiring rate in my company? so basically i want tips for increasing hiring & decreasing attrition. please help.
