Dear Seniors
I am working in a manufacturing company, and would like to know the procedure for ratifying "Welfare Officer" & "Safety Officer" to Inspector of Factories under AP Factories Act .

Hi,
The recruitment process should be done vide giving a paper ad for calling on interviews with requisite qualifications,selection should be done after the interview and the appointed candidates documents like qualification,experience,appointment should be shown to the Director of Factories for ratification.
The qualification,pay etc for the prescribed posts are mentioned in the Factories Act/State rules.

Sir, The Factories Act & the respective state Rules have to be seen regarding appointment of Safety Officer & Welfare Officer. As regards the MP Factories Rules 1962, there is no requirement for ratification of the appointments so long as the appointment fulfills the mandatory conditions provided therein. If relaxation is required then the Chief Factory Inspector has to be approached for exemption in this regard. There is no prescribed for intimation regarding the appointment. You may pl see the Rules applicable

It might be the case in MP factories rules, that is why I have stated that the state rules have to be followed.
Respective state rules and amendments are always applicable.
DP. Gunturi is from Bangalore and Karnataka rules need to be checked.
