OurView: " Our Constitution bestows/guarantees Fundamental Rights to every Citizen of India without any Discrimination, whatsoever and yet keeping in mind certain unique /special needs of Women and Children and in alignment with the Directive Principles of State Policy enshrined in our Constitution, our Sovereign State/Nation has promulgated certain Laws particularly the New Law namely "Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) act 2013 " which applies to Every Employer of every Workplace in India.
Please aid and advice your Employer and every Manager, Supervisor and Any Person who supervises, manages and controls he Workplace to Obey the said Law f 2013, faithfully and properly and File Action-Taken Report with the District Officer appointed under the said Act.

Hi Shrutika,
There is no excuse for statutory provisions and legislation driven rules - you have to follow based on coverage.
However as far as policies are concerned,forum members can only give opinions. It is up to your organisation's vision, values and the governance envisaged by your directors. The kind of business
and workforce also demands certain policies.
As far as policies are concerned, my recommendation is to stay simple and transparent. The more complex and rule driven policies may make administration, a complex affair, year by year.
