Employing a person with higher academic qualification that too unrelated on a lower level job that requires only minimum general qualification is a matter of discretion of the employer and willingness of the so employed person and no question of legality is involved in this affair. However, it may not work well in the long run as the employee would slowly turn out to be a misfit for the job on account of job content, low compensation and lack of growth for his initial acceptance of the job might be out of personal compulsions.
