I worked in a garments company in Chennai and resigned by April 2017. I mailed to the company asking for gratuity cheque and authorized a person for getting the same as I am working out of station currently. But they informed that the gratuity cheque should be signed and received in person. Kindly let me know if there is any other option to get the cheque.help pls.

Dear Antony, your Gratuity Cheque can be deposited to your SB Account by the Employer, you can ask for NEFT Payment of Gratuity.Alternatively, you can ask the Employer to send by registered Post to your present address.It is not necessary that you have to personally visit your Ex Employer Office to collect your Gratuity Cheque.
