Dear cite hr members, I would like to share my working experiences after MBA in HR. I have 1.6 years of experience as hr executive. Then 6 months as IT recruiter then 1 year as liaison officer then 1.6 years as cashier. Now I am working as Personal assistant for the past 2 years. The reason behind my shift from one job to other is my desire to join as HR executive. But before analysis of the job I blankly joined new company, then I realise that current job also not well suited for me. Thus how my 7 years completed from the 2010 (PG MBA finished on 2010). Please seniors suggest me how to choose right job and earn good salary?

I understand your situation. Some times life do not offer proper choices and we do not choose the right opportunity. In desperation to get a job, we land in anything the employer offers during the interview. Later on we do regret. However, all is not lost. One should know and learn what each post holds in terms of roles and responsibilities. Being a guy with a HR qualification, you have donned several mantles during the seven years. Take this is as a positive learning and additional skill sets. Redo your resume and highlight in your objective that you are keen on accepting HR roles. However, when it comes to Competencies, you mention as your skill sets, handling cash, Personal Assistant role etc. Apply against advertisements or if you are in Naukri, mention as heading Executive HR with MBA Qualifications with 7 years experience in different roles. Be strict with the job offers you get and politely refuse any offer that is not related to HR, even as a temporary, stop-gap arrangements. You have to be firm and assertive. Best wishes
