Hi, I have prepared a skill matrix for training job process, knowledge process & safety training skill i want to know
Skill matrix is done yearly once or once in 6 months?
The questionnaire format is enough to analyses the skill? Unable to understand clearly the skill analysing?

Skill Matrix is prepared for a year, this skill matrix is like target or required skill to perform the particular job/task against skill matrix need to analyze the Skill gap analysis based on following skills
a) Technical competencies required for function or Job role.
b) Specific training requirements identified in relevant Quality Expectations
c) Current technical skill and experience.
d) Mandatory refresher training to meet Quality requirement and local law requirement.
e) Results of process reviews, audits, change management, customer/consumer complaints or other sources of non-conformities
f) Applicable Regulatory requirements.
g)Requirements of certification.
Based on above criteria though questioner the skill gap analysis can be done after the analysis you will arrive the training need identification (TNI) after that following need to prepare.
1) Training Planner
2) Training Calendar
3) Training Module
4) Training schedule
5) Procedure of assessment whether oral/Written or on job training.
6) Documentation of Attendance, Assessment , Feedback etc
