Please can any one provide me a Format of Letter to be submitted to Labour Commissioner's Office for working on a National Holiday by a BPO employee.

Dear Sumeet,

As far as I knew, you need not to write any letter to the labour officer for working on paid holiday the only thing that you need to do is double payment for employees working on paid holiday and additional compoff or triple the amount to be paid to person worked on paid holiday if want to avoid compoff.

Thanks for your reply.I have confirmed with the Office of Deputy Commissioner of Labour at Thane,Maharastra and a letter is required which we will be submitting. Also we have enclosed a Declaration from the Employees stating that the working is without any corecion or force.

There is a form , pl check from your state where you have to give the details about how many total employee strength , how many peoples are coming on national holiday. How many will take compensatory off and how many will eligible for double wages

Dear If you read standing order there is clearly mentioned if any employee worked on national holiday he will be eligible for double of overtime , one pay holiday and one c-off.
