Dear all there is certain amount in minimum wages act in different states. my query is that how do we build a ctc as per minimum wages. a is the minimum wages which is basic salary should be the ctc? b the basic salary should comply with minimum wages or the ctc should comply with the minimum wages? pls help thanks amit

Dear experts it has been observed that in spite of minimum wages rules and regulations by the state authorities and by the central authorities meaning companies do not provide wages as per minimum wages act. i found in many companies the salaries are far below than the minimum wages prescribed in the notification. my questions are: 1. is it compulsory to pay minimum wages as prescribed since many companies are not following it in practice? 2. the minimum wages prescribed in the notification are basic or gross salary? 3. do minimum wages change as per the skill level of employees? 4. many small companies do not afford to pay the salaries as per minimum wages act. so how much company should face this problem? kindest regards
Haryana minimum wages w.e.f.1-1-17
Dear all i would like to inform you that haryana government labour department has revises their minimum rate of wages with effect from 1st january 2017 the copy of the circular enclosed. please make the changes accordingly. note: the minimum rates of wages notified here in above are basic rate of minimum wages which are not permitted to be segregated into components in the form of allowances by the employer. advice: since the minimum wages has been raised by the haryana government you are therefore advised to make compliance in respect of pf taking into account the minimum wages as basic pay

Dear all 1 please let me know what component we need to take while fulfilling the criteria of minimum wages? whether minimum wages basic wages special allowance 5 hra or minimum wages basic wages special allowance 2 if company has its own appretice/training program of 3 year and it want to give 75 of minimum wages as stipend/training allowance then what component we need to consider: whether 75 of minimum wages basic wages special allowance 5 hra or 75 of minimum wages basic wages special allowance awaiting for you all early reply. regards avinash k.
Reimbursement of minimum wages
Is hardship allowance tunnel allowance leave pay and overtime are to be reimbursed to contractors? is it statutory component of minimum wages? in our contract agreement with contractors only minimum wages are payable notified by appropriate govt.? contractor is paying all above allowance in addition to minimum wages epf & esi. should we reimburse only minimum wages esi & epf pl. advice. i belongs to
